Aiken Adventures

Throughout our stay in Aiken, South Carolina, Laura Vello and others from Birch Grove Farm utilized their time training and preparing for the 2010 season with eventing coach Sharon White and Dressage coach Gred Reuter.

Returning from Aiken, the Birch Grove Farm team enjoyed much success kicking off the 2010 eventing season.

C’est Le Vie had a strong finish at her first prelim of the season clinching second place at Full Gallop Farm’s Horse Trail, followed by a tenth place finish at the challenging Southern Pines Horse Trail at the Carolina Horse Park.

Fanciful Miss also enjoyed the winner circle as she won the novice division at Sporting Days Farm, followed up with a seventh place finish in the training division at Full Gallop Farm’s Horse Trial.

A big congratulations to Kaiko Juna for her fifth place finish at Sporting Days Farm and a fifth place finish at her first training level event at Full Gallop Farm Horse Trial.

Last but not least, congratulations to Bijou D’Amour for success at his fist novice level events. Bijou showed great ability and commendable manners regarding his new experiences as an event horse.

Congratulations to Marie Mong as Marie and Ivy successfully completed their first official horse trails!

We would like to recognize Hailey Goodwill for all her efforts, hard work, and dedication to the Birch Grove Farm team. We could not have done Aiken with out her!!
